Winter service
The GPS record your winter contract asks for, for every plough and spreader
When the client or a resident asks, you need to show when and where the work was done. Convivo Connect records each vehicle's route and plough and spreader status, with location and time, as the work happens.
Every quote is prepared for your fleet. Most fleets rent and maintain everything under one contract.
What winter contracts ask for, and what you get
Winter road maintenance contracts increasingly make a GPS record a condition. This is what the record covers.
- Vehicle, route and position, recorded at least once a minute
- An alert when a planned road was missed
- Plough and spreader status, with location and time
- Start and end time of the work
- Dash cameras on winter vehicles
- A record that can't be changed afterwards
- Records kept for at least 2 years, or as agreed
- Read-only access for the client
A record of the work that can't be changed afterwards
Export a time-stamped record of the work done that can't be changed afterwards. Share it with the client at the end of a shift or the season. Records are kept for at least 2 years, or as agreed.

Your contractors' vehicles, visible to the town
The town or county sees its contractors' winter vehicles through its own read-only login. Each organisation keeps its own data.
- Trackers already in the trucks: devices already running on another provider's platform can be moved over, scoped per project.
- Plan the routes: plan routes and schedule the work, see it being done live, and get an alert when a planned road was missed.
- Only for the season: add and remove tracked units as the season changes. Fitting and removal can be arranged; a seasonal package is agreed with you.

What winter-service teams get
